What happens before you choose
We want to be precise about this rather than leave it implied. Before you make a choice, no cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device — but the Google Analytics tag does load, and it sends Google one page view marked as having no analytics consent. That page view includes the address and title of the page, your browser, device, screen and language settings, a randomly generated identifier that is not saved to your device, and your IP address.
If you choose “Decline”, no cookies are set and no identifier is stored, but these consent-free page views continue while you browse. If you would rather they did not, most browsers can block requests to third-party domains, and our contact details are at the end of this policy if you want to ask us to stop processing your data.
Managing cookies
We ask for your consent before any analytics cookie is set, and none are set until you accept. We ask everyone, not only visitors in jurisdictions that require it.
